I grew up in west Michigan and I currently live in southwest Michigan. I am a licensed veterinary technician. As a kid, I always went for motorcycle rides with my dad and would help him in the garage by holding flashlights and retrieving tools. I guess my love for dirtbiking and trucks is in my blood. I also love most types of racing (but anything on dirt is better!) And I have always loved anything to do with horses and love working with animals.

Esmeralda Vosburg
Azalea, Oregon, USA
Well I live in Azalea, OR. I have been hanging around in the garage and wrecking yards most of my life. When I was a teenager that is when I really got a chance to help clean parts and sand body parts. Restoration of old Chevy muscle cars is what we did then. When I finally got a chance to go back to school I chose Associates in Automotive Technology with a Welding Certificate so I can restore old muscle cars. During that time I met my husband and he got me into building four wheeling Toyota's. So I added the Toyota T-Ten program to my schooling.
I graduated in 2012 and now work at a local Toyota Dealership. I interned there and they hired me on when I graduated. I started in the Express Lube, then went to New and Used car Tech in the main shop. Now I am in the service drive as a Service Consultant.
I helped my husband build his wheeling truck and over the years he has been teaching me how to wheel. We have gotten to the point where we argue over who gets to drive it when we are wheeling so we decided on getting me one. Like most automotive enthusiast I have many projects in progress, so I spend my time working on a little at a time.
I love to hear a fresh engine start up, the smell of rubber and fuel, and see a project come together.

I fell into love with the Automotive Industry on a whim. The ad I responded to came at a time when my wages were just cut and I needed a change. Not knowing what to expect I got the job at KIA. They gave me my start, my license and a future with cars. I soon found myself wanting more. One evening driving through Milton I noticed cars being parked at an unnamed dealership. A quick Google search proved faithful. I sent over my resume and began working with Achilles Mazda on May 17th 2010. At 24 years old I had much to learn. I am thankful for the guidance Achilles has provided over the years and the continued support of my efforts as Carladylisa. Building my reputation in the industry is so important. Having the creative freedom to express my enthusiasm for my work on social platforms and in person at special events is truly fantastic. As a solo parent I am forever grateful for being a part of Achilles Mazda. I look forward to a bright & prosperous future in the Automotive Industry.

I am a hard working passionate individual, who was always intrigued by muscle cars. As far back as I can remember my daddy always had one in the garage. When I turned 16 I got a 67 mustang that I have been building since. She is a daily driver and over the last 10 years she has only gotten better.
I graduated from Wyotech and Skyline College. I did all the body, paint and engine myself with help from my father of course. Since i was in high school i always in all the shop classes and after i graduated, i went back and spoke to kids about different path ways automotive industry has, not just owning a shop or working for a shop. Then i was president of an all-female car club at Skyline College
called heart wrenchers and we did car care clinics for females and children, helped the girl scouts get their automotive badges, put on fund raisers, attended car shows together and had fun.
I am currently in the process of getting my car to SEMA and sponsored by multiple companies. I help my high school put on car shows and fundraise money for the industrial arts program and still speak at schools on behalf of the automotive industry.

I’m a goofy kid that happens to have an undying love for Jeeps. I had an idea of what a Jeep was because my dad would buy wrecked ones and flip them every summer so I had been around them for a while before I started driving one. I didn’t actually get a sense of love for it until I started driving it and it has actually become a part of who I am. My friends can find me based on my Jeep, and they also think of me when they see a Jeep. It is also a way for me to find common ground with my dad as he has a background revolving around cars. My mom on the other hand thinks the thing is cursed and won’t ride in it which is fine for me because she tends to nag on my driving. I also have strong family ties and close friendships. I always try to stick to my word and to be kind to everyone, although I do enjoy joking around with people and making others laugh.

I am a school bus mechanic. I live in the tiny town of Point Arena in Northern California with my husband and our two dogs. I got my love of all things trucker in high school; I worked summers (and most days after school) for a local gravel company. I started in the office and quickly headed over to the shop. It was just more fun! When I graduated from high school I attended Wyoming Technical Institute where I received an associate’s degree in diesel technology. I then moved back home and worked for a small scale log trucker. I did all of his truck and equipment service and maintenance. It was a small fleet, 3 Peterbilts and a couple loaders and backhoes so I was the only mechanic. I learned a lot about putting my education from my brain to my hands there. I worked there for 2 years and applied for a position at the local school district that had just came open. I started work just a few days after my interview. I've been there now for 10 years. I am the only mechanic for a fleet of around 20 busses, support vehicles and grounds equipment. Aside from my professional stuff I am a chronic 4x4 builder. With my husband we have done several solid axle swaps in the driveway. I still own the truck I bought when I was 16, a 1988 Chevy 1500 step side. I solid axled it, made it 1 ton and ran 42's shortly after moving home from Wyoming and proceeded to drive it into the ground. I started a frame up build on it a few years ago, hope to finish that sometime this year. My daily driver is a '05 Chevy (yes SAS'd) and I'm more conservative in my old age and only run 38's. I also have an 83 CJ7 with full width Dana 44 and 14 bolt under it, it also is on 38’s. That is the beater. And finally, a 2010 F350 with the 6.4. It has the deletes and upgraded intake and exhaust, tuner and South Bend dual disc clutch (pretty mild) my husband drag raced it a couple years ago and it ran in the 15’s. I'm looking forward to making new friends, learning new stuff and adding some inspiration!

Hello. My name is Danielle Hickman. I am happily married to the love of my life. I am currently employed at O’Reilly Auto Parts in Salem, Ohio. I believe in the automotive industry you should build your car for yourself. You should not have to have approval of others. I currently swapped my 1991 Honda Civic with a B18A1. My paint theme is the bomber look. It is my pride and joy. I also own a 1995 Ford F150. The F150 has too much sentimental value that I cannot part with it even though it probably should be scrapped. I may not be a mechanic but I love to learn as much as I can. Every day at my job I try to learn something new and I think that is exciting.

My passion lies in the creative and Nerfherder Creations allows me to pour this creativity into the Jeep world (though we are always expanding and do custom work as well). It is my goal to turn this into a full time job in the near future or at least once I finish my MBA.
When I am not doing design work, filling orders or going to shows with Nerfherder Creations, I work full time as an Academic Advisor at a University. I am really close to finishing my MBA focusing in marketing (Spring 2016) and have my Undergrad in Advertising and Photography.
I live in Jacksonville, FL and have lived in various states throughout the South the majority of my life. I love to travel and look for new adventures whenever I can sneak away. In my free time I also love to explore new trails in my Jeep JKU and I am always finding/looking for new projects (in many areas) to learn and master.

I am a 34 year old mother of an 11 year old boy. I’m raising him alone while I work part time at the college I attend. Currrently I am studying towards 2 associates degree. I’m not a complete “tomboy” but I do love the outdoors (camping/fishing, etc.), and love to live a responsible happy go lucky life. My son is my world, so I hope through my struggles he will see anything is possible.
ASK ME ABOUT: Education in Automotive/Diesel, Auto/Diesel Maintenance, single parent, Art, tattoos, struggling as a women in Automotive/Diesel

I’m an Automotive Lifestyle writer for several publications including Hagerty Classic Cars, Throttle Gals and Girls’N Garages. On my off time, I also run a Parrot Rescue. I enjoy working on my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee offroad/expedition rig, camping, driving my Mazdaspeed MX-5 track car, helping my husband with his Subaru Spec B, cruising in my 1961 Cadillac Series 62, and exploring northern Michigan lakes in my 1964 Renken fiberglass boat.
