Ink & Iron event coverage
"Joining Nowak and her team, were numerous guests, family members and fellow industry professionals. Victoria Ellis, who heads up the International Women’s Automotive Society, made the trip up from Michigan and said she felt honoured to be at Ink & Iron’s open house, helping to not only celebrate the opening of the business but also recognition of women in the body repair and automotive industry.
“There are just so many opportunities available in this industry, both for women and men. This is really a fun industry to work in and we get to do lots of really cool things,” said Ellis. She noted that she first came into contact with Nowak via Pinterest and it’s initiatives like establishing Ink & Iron that will help drive the industry forward and showcase the talent and opportunity for women in the industry.
“Our goal is to help each other succeed and to have a positive impact on the industry for women who work in it both today and tomorrow,” she said.
Ink & Iron is located at 5900 Dixie Road, Unit 6, in Brampton, Ont.
