Are you looking for educational options within the Automotive Industry but not sure where to turn? You have come to the right place! As a societal organization it is important for us to support each other in achieving our goals. If one of your goals is to pursue educational opportunities for Automotive Technology, Diesel Technology, Agricultural, Industrial, Engineering, or any other degree with a focus in the Automotive Industry, we are here to help. 

We have various women within the society who have perused or is currently pursuing an education within the field. Below are a couple things that we have learned along the way to help you decide what direction is fit for you:


Keep in mind there are multiple avenues for perusing education in the Automotive Industry.

  2. Technical College
  3. Associates in Automotive/ Automotive Management / Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive Technology / Automotive Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Mechanical Engineering 
  4. Military Training
 
1. OEM Educational Programs
OEM programs are manufacturer based programs designed to provide hands on experience in addition to traditional education. Length usually consists of about 20 months and may consist of being sponsored by a particular manufacturer dealership and are very desirable to dealerships.

2. Technical College
Technical colleges offer employment preparation skills and automotive technician training on domestic and foreign vehicles. These educational institutions also many of times have course paths of specialization such as auto, diesel, collision, marine, motorcycle, and even specializations such as NASCAR.

3. Associates in Automotive Technology / Automotive Management / Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive Technology / Automotive Engineering

4. Military Education
Enlisting in the military is a wonderful way to gain skills in areas such as Automotive or Diesel. You can gain lots of education and knowledge that can help in careers after serving your country. Also, many enlistees get education grants towards college which can go towards earning an Automotive Technology Education.
